X-BOX IS BETTER THAN PS3 AT SOMETHING,PS3 IS BETTER THAN X-BOX AT SOMETHING
This week Flynn Leeson from Australia vents his feelings about the console war, and asks why gamers can't accept that other consoles may be stronger in certain aspects than the competition.
I'm generally new to 360s and their many accessories, so I looked at YouTube. But then I noticed one tiny little thing, every darn video had PS3 players commenting on how bad Xbox's are. I mean, jeez.
They have their preferred console and we have ours right? Not to them. They expose EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM with the Xbox, which greatly discouraged me to buy the New 250GB Slim model.
Who started the flame war? Why can't this world of gaming just accept that some consoles are stronger than others in certain parts of their design? Xbox's are more social with Live, 1-0, PS3's have more console exclusives, 1-1.
You could keep doing that until every category has been covered and it would still be a draw in my opinion.
XBW: Long-time readers will know that we have a lot of time for the PS3 here at Xbox World - Uncharted 2 is one of our favourite games ever. Not sure about the exclusives argument, though.
Xbox has Halo, Forza, Fable, Gears, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Project Gotham... Pretty strong, that.
CVG: If we could answer this question there would be eternal peace on the internet, forums would no longer be arenas for profanity-filled console wars and we'd all live in harmony enjoying every game on every platform.
Be honest, sounds a bit boring, right? Kind of like that episode of Angel where Gina Torres shows up, creates peace on Earth and everything goes a bit strange because of it...
Maybe it's because people spend absurd amounts of hard earned cash on a console and then continue to sink time and money into playing and buying games for it.
So when someone comes along and says they've made the wrong purchasing decision, he or she feels the need to defend the decisions.
Or maybe it's because people just love a good old trolling. Either way, as long as one platform, game or company is in competition with another, a flames of fanboy war will rage.
